Southport 115kV DOT Transmission Line Relocation

Project Scope:

This project involved the construction of approximately 1.0 mile of 115kV Transmission Line on concrete structures, and the removal of approximately 1.5 miles of existing 69kV Transmission Line on wood structures.  The project also involved raising two 230kV structures.  The transmission line required schedule coordination with the local IOU. The majority of the transmission line was built in a completely new transmission right of way.
