Department Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Design, Siting, and Survey that proper right-of-way and right-of-way distances are obtained.

  • Coordinate with Siting & client to ensure proper paperwork is provided, prepared & reviewed before presenting to landowners.

  • Contacting & meeting with landowners to discuss right-ofway needs, timelines, construction plans, side effects, etc. Report findings back to client.

  • Provide landowners with the information needed to make clear and thorough decisions while following all North Carolina and South Carolina Real Estate guidelines and regulations.

  • Facilitate legal questions/issues with client and client’s representatives.

  • Maintain detailed contact notes as reference for all parties.

  • Provide to survey crews, clearing crews, and construction crews, any specific agreements made with landowners that need to be followed during a project.
